The Analytics and Behavior Change team supporting the “Attain by Aetna” mobile app is currently looking for an exceptional Senior Front End Java Developer to join our team. This lead role is an opportunity to join the engineering team within the Analytics organization working on projects that will shape the future of the organization. The Senior Front End Java Developer will be focused on the front-end user experience of internal tools used by Finance, Customer Service, and Sales. This role will also be expected to write backend services to fetch and process data used by those tools.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Mature web-based portals used for Attain to meet product roadmap requirements. • Advance the technology stack used by web applications to take advantage of features that will offer a modern User Experience. Redesign applications to take advantage of that technology. • Migrate on prem web applications and backend services to the Cloud. • Ensure effective unit test framework is leveraged throughout web applications. • Accountable for application uptime and maintenance. • Develop CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and releasing of new functionality. • Triage and resolve issues with end users. • Communicate advanced technical concepts to the team to gain support of technology change and to explain solution designs. • Decompose high level and complex requirements into task level work for themselves and others on the team.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
