Business OverviewAs part of the bold vision to deliver the “Next Generation” of managed care in Ohio Medicaid, Ohio RISE will help struggling children and their families by focusing on the individual with strong coordination and partnership among MCOs, vendors, and ODM to support specialization in addressing critical needs. The OhioRISE Program is designed to provide comprehensive and highly coordinated behavioral health services for children with serious/complex behavioral health needs involved in, or at risk for involvement in, multiple child-serving systems. Position Summary:This is a full time teleworker position in Ohio. The Sr. Ops Support Specialist is involved in the ongoing relationship management with organizations, Case Management Entities (CMEs) providing care coordination services to our OhioRISE members. This position is a technical local resource supporting the CMEs. This role plans, designs, develops and manages the tools, processes and procedures needed to achieve high quality computer operations and systems management services. The Sr. Ops Support Specialist collaborates with Case Management Entities, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) staff, and Managed Care Organizations as required in technical support of the OhioRISE program. Accountable for transferring technical knowledge, best practices (external and internal), methodology and tools to internal and external partners and organizations. Participates as a team member, representing the OhioRISE plan and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements including the exchange of data to ensure appropriate CME oversight and technical support. This position may require some instate travel.Fundamental Components:• Plans, designs, develops, implements and administers integrated systems management and services support for the management of host, distributed and network resources, applications and computing operations.• Establishes, develops and maintains the tools, process and procedures used to manage the enterprise computing environment or changes to that environment. • Identifies and acts upon opportunities to improve computing availability, reliability, efficiency, performance and overall service within the enterprise computing environment. • Identifies, communicates and documents new processes and procedures resulting from integrated systems management and services support changes within the computing environment. • Maintains a high level of commitment and focus on customer requirements, presents new products and their usage to appropriate customer groups, targeting all communications accordingly. • Manages the introduction of technological, organizational, procedural or application change as it relates to integrated systems management and services support within the computing environment. • Initiates/leads special support and project activities to service CMEs needs and/or enhance procedures, work flow and new products. • Analyzes and assesses changes to processes, organization, or infrastructure, as well as new or upgraded technology or products and implements appropriate integrated systems management and services solutions. • Provides tool and product training support as required to CMEs and other customer groups. Also develops specialized training material. • Identifies, resolves and manages problems and escalates to management as defined in unit guidelines. • Develops and contributes to unit metrics and reporting responsibilities as defined within the unit. • Provides organizational support for planning and financials related to integrated systems management products and resources.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as Operations Support Specialist, or equivalent work experience and associated knowledge.• Experience working with system/database administrators, development teams and end users to resolve issues• 2+ Years of experience with developing SQL queries and SQL databases• 2+ Years of experience with .NET, JavaScript, C#, C++, XML, SSIS and Visual Studio• 2 + Years previous production support experience • Experience with agile delivery methodology • Familiarity with file transfer protocols and system security • Ability to work effectively with CMEs, business partners, other IT organizations and management.• In depth knowledge of multiple categories of enterprise automation support tools: Mainframe, midrange, distributed and network automation and monitoring; Problem, change and service request management; Print and output management; • Computer literate and proficiency with MS Office Suite applications• Ability to travel based on business needs. Must possess reliable transportation, valid/active driver's license, and proof of vehicle insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in health care services industry is a plus• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Project management and analytical skills.• Knowledge of Aetna's computing environments (mainframe, midrange, distributed, desktop), infrastructure components, networks, environmental hardware and software.


College degree or equivalent work experience.
