CVS Health Senior Consultant Account Management in WORK FROM HOME, Michigan

Job Description

The Sr. Consultant, Account Management (aka HP Senior Account Manager) is a client facing role working directly with key client contacts.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management is an integral part of the overall Account Services team that owns the client relationship, delivering client satisfaction.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management will demonstrate a high level of accountability through the execution of timely, accurate, and reliable interaction with the client, demonstrating a professional manner always. Interactions include but are not limited to; email, client calls, video conference and in person meetings etc.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management must be able to independently drive results through others, holding internal partners accountable to deliver on client requests, solutions and resolving issues.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management will mentor junior Account Managers and will continuously educate team members on CVS Health and CVS Caremark® operational process and marketplace dynamics.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management will continuously drive enhancements in the overall training for Account Managers.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management will be active in the development of department level process improvements while continuously improving existing practices.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management drives all stages of client work activity that is received and provides team leadership to ensure proper expectations are set and activity is proceeding as intended. Organizing and confirming timelines and prompt execution are in place by holding internal business partners accountable to deliver on client commitments. Responsible for quickly escalating issues within the organization prior to client escalation or when client commitments are at risk. Ensuring all client issues are being entered and tracked in client management tools and monitoring them throughout their lifecycle. The Sr. Consultant, Account Management engages and drives internal partners to ensure client operational requests are completed timely and accurately by the commitment date.The Sr. Consultant, Account Management creates and leads all operational logs and calls, including follow up and resolution plans for each item identified. Accountable for timelines and tracking actions between internal and external stakeholders. Serve as operational point of contact for client.

Required Qualifications

  1. At least 18-months with CVS Caremark® – in PBM Account Management2. Current Performance Rating in Good Standing3. Fulfilled promotion nomination requirement with your leader OR already in a similar role and grade within CVS Caremark® 4. 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications (e.g. SalesForce, RxNavigator, etc)5. Willingness or ability to travel up to 10%

Accountable for facilitating new plans and specific product implementations; including establishing and leading internal meetings to ensure collaboration and attention to detail throughout the process to meet expected timelines and quality standards.9. Demonstrate effective presentation skills with the ability to lead group presentations regarding CVS Caremark® strategic and operational performance metrics to clients on a monthly, quarterly and/or on an as-needed basis to promote client satisfaction, client retention and upsell opportunities.10. Responsible for timely and accurate management and execution of all client benefit requests, including benefit changes, product upsells, new groups, and escalated11. Proven understanding of differences between CVS Health, CVS Caremark® PBM and Health Care Benefit (HCB) market segments12. RxClaim system knowledge13. Proven ability to foster interpersonal relationships (i.e. being able to quickly establish a rapport with internal/external customers) 14. Ability to coach peer colleagues 15. Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail; with the ability to meet project deadlines with various work streams and deliverables


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience may be considered
