Position Summary

As the HR Analytics Senior Manager, you will join our Workforce Analytics team. In this role you are a skilled data engineer, analyst, and data visualization professional.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines with a focus on data governance and security for employee relations and well as other HR data.

  • Creating strategic design of reports, supporting technology updates to case management system that will yield better insights to the business units and to HR leaders.

  • Conducting analysis, working with others to analyze data, and sharing insights with proposed actions that improve quality and adherence to policies.

  • Create intuitive and insightful dashboards to support HR leaders and professionals to support the businesses across CVS Health.

  • Providing HR leaders (e.g., Employee Relations, other HR professionals and COEs) with guidance on problem analysis, solution validation, risk management, issue resolution/escalation and stakeholder engagement.

  • Assisting with building out the data literacy learning agenda.

Required Qualifications

At least 7 years of relevant HR Analytics experience

Data Engineering

• 2+ years’ experience manipulating backend data from multiple sources to create reports/dashboards providing in-depth trending and insights analysis within the Tableau system and/or PowerPoint presentations

• 5+ years’ experience of proficiency with data manipulation tools

Data Analysis

• 2+ years’ experience of analytics tools/languages such as Tableau, SAS, Alteryx, Python, R, etc., to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources

• 2+ years’ experience in advanced ability to transform data, understand patterns, and draw conclusions in a hypothesis-driven approach to analysis

• 5+ years’ experience as a business intelligence or analytics role within a large-scale company or fast-paced environment (preferably operations analytics)

Data Visualization

• 2+ years’ experience utilizing Tableau (or other visualization tools) to create dashboards

• 3+ years’ experience in the design and creation of visual tools to align metrics with strategic priorities (e.g., performance and adoption dashboards)

• 3+ years’ experience presenting complex data and analysis to non-technical audiences, and providing different views for different levels (e.g., executive vs. end user)

Consulting Skills

• 3+ years’ experience partnering with business owners to understand requirements, develop project timelines and deliver data sets or analysis on time

• 2+ years’ experience translating business terms into complex reporting and data requirements into simplified business needs and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience working in a human resources environment

• Master's Degree

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent work experience may substitute

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
