CVS Health Senior Manager Healthcare Strategy – CVS Media Exchange in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

As the Senior Manager of Healthcare Strategy for our CVS Media Exchange (CMX) business, you’ll be responsible for influencing the future direction and development of a fast-growing retail media arm at the 4th largest company in the US. Your aim is to identify, assess and commercialize new business opportunities in the healthcare sector that both drive media investment and align with CVS enterprise strategy. Leveraging strong internal relationships across teams like legal, pharmacy marketing and analytics, you’ll quarterback the cutting-edge expansion of our retail media offering into new healthcare spaces. Traversing uncharted territory for CMX will be your super-power and you’ll have a healthy mix of white space identification, strategy creation, and partnership management responsibilities. At the outlay of your tenure with us, you’ll be heavily focused on creating data-driven business cases to establish and refine our value proposition with health / pharma advertisers. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy for CMX, your comfort with independently driving forward workstreams will be celebrated. You’ll assess the landscape, gather input from appropriate partners, explore feasibility (e.g. legal review, operational readiness) and lead the execution of project deliverables (e.g. business case, advertiser pitch collateral). Your knowledge of the pharma marketing space will drive CMX decisioning and your trusted relationships across the organization will help break down barriers, unlocking maximum future success for CMX. Finding common ground & acceptable alternatives that satisfy the needs of multiple stakeholders will be paramount, along with holding teams accountable for progress against approved workstream. As our offering in the healthcare space matures, you’ll also have the unique opportunity to grow with the business, shifting your responsibilities to focus even more on partnership management. You’ll drive against revenue goals as an account owner, recognizing upsell opportunities and tapping into net new budget sources. From providing strategic media plans that drive against client objectives to collaborating with supporting CMX cohorts through flawless campaign execution, you’ll consistently deliver an elevated client experience. Your demonstrated ability to prioritize, operate with efficiency and communicate with excellence will translate to impressive campaign results that parlay into the next media sale. We’ve seen immense success at CMX in our first 18 months, and a lot of that is due to a team of strong talent unencumbered by traditional role definitions. Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 75400

Maximum: 158300

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a foundation of business strategy, client management, and digital media understanding - 3+ years of cross-functional leadership experience, including examples of new business acceleration - 2+ years of digital media or retail media experience - 2+ years of pharma marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clear understanding of pharma advertiser priorities when buying digital media across onsite, social, and programmatic channels - Experience in client sales or account management at a digital media agency or digital media vendor - Significant experience leading, managing & overseeing multiple stakeholders (e.g. legal, marketing, government affairs) & cross functional teams to achieve aggressive organizational goals - Experience creating business cases by determining addressable attainable business opportunity and translating that into a recommended plan - Adept at working within the realities and constraints of the organization, understanding when to work with an existing framework and when to push for change - Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the need to navigate competing priorities - Excellent communication skills that can be articulated in both written and oral forms across a diverse audience base - Self-motivated, high-capacity person who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment

Education

Bachelor's in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required. MBA preferred or equivalent (HS Diploma + 6 years of relevant experience)
