CVS Health Omnichannel Industrial Engineer in Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Job Description

This role is open to remote candidates!The Omnichannel Industrial Engineer plays a key role in supporting Fulfilment operations, planning and processes as the company continues to grow its digital offerings and direct to consumer lines of business. This individual, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Omnichannel Industrial Engineering, will directly manage process improvement and projects supporting the CVS Health fulfilment network. In this role, the engineer will support development of operating models, process design for new fulfilment locations and drive continuous improvement in productivity. They will partner with field engineers in developing staffing and labor plans for sites and assist in startup execution of new locations.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 60,300

Maximum: 126,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in fulfilment operations- 3+ years experience in distribution and warehousing - 3+ year of experience with data analysis- 3+ year of experience with Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)- 1+ year experience in automation application in fulfilment- 1+ years in fulfillment center layout and design- 1+ year labor management systems and engineered labor standards, including time and motion study- 1+ year process improvement/ continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience preferredKnowledge of:• Fulfilment waving and control systems• WMS systems• Pre-determined time and motion system such as MOST• Distribution center operations• Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologiesSkill in:• Report generation • Influence leaders at different levels within the building• Communicate and present information clearly and succinctly• Interpersonal skills and able to build effectively partnerships• Read, understand and recommend action based on P&L or other tracking data• Local project management• SQL or other query based data language• Business intelligence and/or data visualizationAbility To:• Effectively communicate across different levels, from hourly colleagues to DC leadership• Design improved processes• Design work instructions

Education

  • Bachelors Degree- Required - Industrial Engineering preferred, others include mathematics, operations management, Operations research, mechanical engineering preferred- Masters Degree- Preferred
