Position Summary

The Care Management Product team leads the innovation, development, and implementation of the health services programs offered to PBM clients. In collaboration with the broader Care Management organization, we strive to accomplish the triple aim of quality improvement: lower cost, better outcomes, and better consumer experience.

The Product Development Manager will be responsible for providing innovative insights and next-gen analysis for PBM health plan clients by establishing benchmarks and defining measures of success. The Manager would work independently to solve complex problems and use knowledge of best practices to overcome barriers and deliver key perspectives. The Product Development Manager will also work with cross-functional partners to execute product initiatives.

  • Build advanced analytic models that can simplify large data sets

  • Anticipate client needs and drive understanding of program value

  • Evaluate trends to make predictions about the future of health care services

  • Identify benchmarks and make meaningful comparisons to competitor and industry performance

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to demonstrate subject matter expertise

  • Foster lasting partnerships with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

    Location: CVS Health follows a hybrid work model providing office-based colleagues the ability to flex between working in the office and working from home based on the work you need to accomplish. The candidate selected for the role will have the option to work with our hybrid model at one of the CVS Health hub locations (Woonsocket, RI; Northbrook, IL; Scottsdale, AZ) or WFH-Remote

    Work visa sponsorship is available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience with data analysis

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (incl. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in the consulting space is ideal

  • Experience with government regulation and compliance requirements (HEDIS/Stars preferred)

  • Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse querying (SAS/SQL helpful)

  • Ability to negotiate agreement among different organizational areas and leadership levels

  • Ability to translate strategic goals into concrete actions

  • Ability to focus, organize, and work independently, including working remotely

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major, minor or concentration relevant to the position, or equivalent work experience required

  • MBA or equivalent experience preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
