Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Manager, Database Administrator to administer and maintain enterprise databases and data server software, ensuring the availability and performance of large-scale data systems. Duties include: design and implement enterprise database solutions including SQL Server databases, Azure Cloud, other data sources and technologies; evaluate and select new SQL Server technologies, tools, and features to improve the performance and functionality of the database environment; develop and maintain data models and schema definitions for SQL Server databases, ensuring they are structured and optimized for high performance; analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to enhance performance; develop tools and scripts to monitor performance and availability of database servers; ensure that SQL Server data is properly integrated with other data sources and technologies; execute complex performance tuning using custom tools; optimize existing database deployments through regular maintenance, including index rebuilds, reorganization, and statistics updates; design and implement network and database disaster recovery solutions; migrate servers and databases from Oracle or Teradata providing On-Call support for production systems; and ensure that all deployments meet audit and compliance requirements.   • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; SQL Server; SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS; PowerBI or Tableau; Teradata, Informix, and Oracle SCOM; Azure; Idera, LiteSpeed, DDBoost, Foglight, Guardian, or SQL Sentry; and Providing domain support for healthcare or retail pharmacy organization.

Pay Range: $132579.00/year to $132579.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
