Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Cloud Engineer to perform data analytics on big data to solve and propose solutions to complex business problems. Duties include: participate in the development of data structures and end-to-end pipelines that productionalizes machine-learning algorithms using a bigdata processing technology stack; participate in reviews of design, code, data, feature implementation performed by other data engineers in support of maintaining data engineering standards; utilize DevOps best practices to deploy new features into production systems, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), test-driven development, and proper version control; troubleshoot complex data structures, application features, offer eligibility rules and perform root cause analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issues; contribute to the implementation of distributed machine learning algorithms into production systems; collaboratewith business partners to define product objectives, business requirements, system design, and key performance indicators; drive speed to market utilizing agile methodology; and participate in conversations with infrastructure teams on analytics application requirements. Multiple openings. - Requirements: Master’s (or foreign equivalent) Data Engineering,Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: SQL, Python, Scala, or Java; Shell scriptingand Unix command line coding; Data pipeline scheduling and orchestration via Control-M, Azure Data Factory, or Airflow; KPI metric definition, development, and validation for report creation; Relational databases (RDBMS), including Oracle, Teradata, or MySQL databases; and Data modeling, Data architecture, and/or Data analysis.

Pay Range: $109283.00/year to $140000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
