We are currently seeking a dynamic, high-energy individual to provide operating support to the Branch Managers and Operations Director in our Greater NY organization. This person will manage staff workflow in NY Metro and Long Island branch locations, including oversight of Office Coordinators and other positions.

  • Administer company policies at the local level and act as Field Liaison for the Region / Headquarters.

  • Develop and implement efficient procedures throughout the organization in partnership with Operations Director.

  • Facilitate communications within Branch/Region, manage day-to-day Branch Operations, and interface with the DMs with issues of performance, workflow, and operating procedures.

  • Run and monitor monthly reports in support of FPs. Responsible for budget reports and commissions inquiries.

  • Support HQ initiatives that help develop, improve, or eliminate processes in order to create value and more effective and efficient support to the field.

  • Act as a resource by sharing time and expertise to assist in the development of new programs an.

  • Coordinate associate and staff activities, including where applicable, large case support, new business liaison (NOC) and special support needs.


Skills required to ensure your success include:

Budget Management : Knowledge of the principles and methodology of budget management; ability to utilize the tools, techniques and procedures needed to establish and monitor budgets.

Business Analytics: Knowledge of technologies, techniques and practices for the evaluation of business performance data; ability to analyze business performance using advanced statistical methods to predict trends and providing forecasts that drive business decisions and business planning.

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.

Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Process Mapping/Flowcharting: Knowledge of the concepts of process mapping; ability to carry out the documentation of current and proposed manufacturing processes to identify and make improvements.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 5 years of experience in insurance, securities or financial services providers

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Understands the need for confidentiality at all levels of work

  • Advanced problem solving skills, strong leadership skills

  • Ability to travel occasionally to local offices
