SUMMARY:

The Recruiter will be responsible for full cycle recruitment while partnering with management and Human Resources Business Partners to build effective best practices and strategies regarding sourcing, interviewing and candidate selection. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hiring process, including but not limited to developing creative candidate sourcing and pipelining strategies; screening and interviewing qualified, diverse candidates; and developing and maintaining an outstanding candidate and internal stakeholder experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for all recruiting activities for assigned roles, including but not limited to developing and managing an effective recruitment strategy to attract passive and active jobseekers

  • Establish and maintain innovative ways to showcase American Tower as an employer of choice

  • Utilize innovative candidate sourcing techniques to creatively fill current roles and build pipeline for future positions

  • Consult with hiring managers on staffing needs and tailor recruitment strategies

  • Review resumes from various sources and conduct phone interviews to prescreen candidates, make recommendations to hiring managers and partner with Recruiting Coordinators to coordinate interviews

  • Communicate and coach hiring managers and interviewers in interviewing best practices and to develop job-specific behavioral interview questions

  • Manage candidates seamlessly through the interview process

  • Develop and maintain relationships with the communities and resources in which American Tower recruits, including colleges and universities, agencies, and various associations and organizations

  • Conduct reference checks for candidates

  • Responsible for the safeguarding of all personal information as required by data privacy laws, Company policies, and department processes

  • Drive recruiting processes that ensure consistency with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to manage work load in a consistently changing and high volume recruiting environment

  • Project management skills with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers on the recruiting process

  • Demonstrated success in utilizing direct sourcing techniques

  • Ability to develop collaborative partnerships with hiring teams to ensure continuous momentum throughout the hiring process

  • Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results

  • Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively

  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment

  • Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers and vendors.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Three or more years of full cycle recruiting experience in high growth, high-volume organization(s)

  • Experience recruiting in the telecommunications or wireless industries preferred

  • Experience in recruiting, hiring and interviewing for positions in numerous disciplines strongly preferred

  • Experience partnering across organizations, with hiring teams, Human Resources, and stakeholders of various levels

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite and experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems required

ENVIRONMENT:

Approximately 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 15% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
