American Tower Account Lead Land Acquisitions in Woburn, Massachusetts
We are seeking an Account Lead, Land Acquisitions to join American Tower’s Land Acquisition team. The Land Acquisition team fuels revenue and growth through the analysis and acquisition of land and real estate opportunities within the wireless infrastructure industry. Day to day you will manage projects for land and real estate acquisition aimed at enhancing the Company’s portfolio.As an Account Lead, Land Acquisitions you will partner cross-functionally to build comprehensive lead lists for our vendors, support those vendors, and collaborate with internal groups to close vendor originated real estate transactions.
What You Can Offer Us
Perform valuations for land and real estate acquisition opportunities through financial models and automated workflows.
Audit third-party proposals to ensure they align with set financial hurdle rates.
Monitor and record vendor transactions; provide monthly progress and metrics reporting to senior leadership.
Audit, review, and process vendor fee invoices, consistent with service agreement payment terms.
Partner cross-functionally to generate lead lists; leverage technology to facilitate due diligence efficiency and effectiveness.
Train teams on documents, tools, and processes and provide update reports on all acquisition metrics.
Project manage special portfolios and program interests, such as tower relocations, collaborative negotiation efforts, and litigation-related requests.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree required . Concentration in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Law preferred.
Minimum 1 year of wireless tower industry, real estate, or finance experience required.
Experience managing projects in a high-volume environment strongly preferred.
Approximately 5% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate transactions, and present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
