Overview
The Supervisor participates in and provides leadership support for the NHES OSW (on-site wellbeing) clinical operations team members including RNs, LPNs, CMAs/RMAs, Health & Wellness Partners, PSCs, etc. The position participates in strategic planning and continuous process improvement efforts to ensure the most up-to-date clinical standards and best practices when planning and delivering OSW services. This position conducts research and pulls clinical knowledge and data from various resources to develop educational materials appropriate for representing Novant Health in the corporate/employer community. The Supervisor facilitates and coordinates daily clinical operations and acts as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for team members within the clinical operations team supporting both clinical and non-clinical processes. Responsible for day-to-day supervision of team members; provides consistent feedback, coaching, counseling, and performance reviews for team members; and fills team member role/shift at onsite events, for virtual services, and at wellness centers as a working supervisor to meet daily staffing needs.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or RN with bachelor’s degree in related field or degree as NP or PA required. Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years clinical experience in respective field, required. Two years experience in leading clinical and non-clinical teams and developing team education, orientation, and ongoing team development, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure or current NP or PA licensure in appropriate, required. BLS, required.
Additional Skills (required):
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work independently without supervision and self-manage. Evaluate statistical information and make sound judgments. High energy with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies among a diverse population. Have a passion for health improvement and be able to communicate case sensitive material to participants and team members. Ability to develop, plan and implement short-term and long-range goals. Knowledge of reading, understanding, and evaluating participant’s labs, charts, medical history, and medication records within the nursing scope of practice and precept/mentor team members related to this knowledge and skill set. Ability to oversee and manage implementation and ongoing services related to onsite wellbeing screening events and services, immunization clinics, educational development and seminars, coaching services to include participant compliance, reporting, and other administrative duties. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities daily as needed to support OSW team and customers.

Additional Skills (preferred):
Hold current NHES approved health coaching certification (such as Wellcoaches Inc. or UNCG sponsored certification program) or successfully complete training and certification process within one year of employment.
