Job Summary

Responsible for providing continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. The Float Pool RN Lead is assigned to physician practices during their shift to ensure that patient care needs are met. These Float Pool RN Leads possess the skills, competency, and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in several different clinical areas. The Float Pool RN Lead serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families. The Registered Nurse lead utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse lead accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. The RN lead coordinate and assist the provider to ensure safe quality/cost effective service and care for the people within the practice population.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

• Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

• Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem solving skills, operate personal computer.
