Novant Health Acupuncturist in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Summary

Novant Health is seeking an Acupuncturist to provide acupuncture services (which may also include acupressure, moxibustion and cupping, as well as other treatments as mutually agreed upon by practitioner, Medical Director and Lead Clinic Administrator) one day per week (0.2 FTE) in Charlotte. Number of treatments performed per day, individual and group, to be mutually agreed upon by the practitioner, Medical Director and Lead Clinic Administrator (dependent on space and support personnel provided by NMG). Help establish acupuncture-specific standard operating procedures that are compliant with Novant protocols. Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Required. Graduate of accredited school of acupuncture of Oriental Medicine.

  • Experience: At least 3 years in the general practice of acupuncture, Required.

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed through the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB) and/or The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), Required.

  • Additional Skills Preferred: Significant experience treating people with cancer, pain (neuropathic and other), stress /anxiety, nausea, and fatigue.
