Novant Health Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Wilmington, North Carolina

Provide RN program support, project management and overall administrative support to the Recruitment Team to include coordination of recruiting and hiring related to new hire, onboarding, and transfer processes for RN positions, RN Graduates and recruitment events.

This position will be based in Wilmington, NC.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Two years administrative support experience required. Two years of human resources or recruitment experience preferred.

Essential Skills:

  • Prepares correspondences and presentations as needed

  • Digital Fluency:

  • Proficient use of iCIMS ATS to correspond, screen, schedule interviews, and route applicants to hiring leaders

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Provides technical troubleshooting support to new hires and nursing leadership as it relates to the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process

  • Enhances digital fluency competency through continuing education

  • Collaboration:

  • Partners with HR units including Student Programs and RN Leadership to ensure RNs are brought in timely

  • Organizational Skills:

  • Must have general understanding of overall operations of the organization as well as the individual specific business supporting

  • Must be able to multitask and set priorities collaboratively with managers and other HR staff

  • Proactive: be able to anticipate and initiate the next steps in the processing of candidates or new hires

  • Ability to take direction

  • Processes invoices in a timely and accurate manner

    Screening Skills: Evaluate, prioritize and refer quality candidates:

  • Must have an understanding of job clusters and the skills, credentials that are required for the job category they support

  • Coordinate interview blitz/recruitment events as requested establishing times and locations

  • Provides logistical and administrative support for interviews and meetings for RN Recruitment Team, new hires, and nursing leadership

    Pre-Hire/Hiring Process

Facilitates Hiring Processing – to include but not limited to the following:

  • Assists RN Recruitment Team with scheduling employee occupational health appointments for new hires

  • Prepares and sends sign-on bonuses, relocation reimbursements, recruitment bonuses, etc. to new hires when applicable

  • Sends new hire email and welcome letter to the new potential team member

  • Follows up on Employee Occupational Health (EOH) screening to ensure clearance prior to start

  • Reviews orientation schedule with new employee .

  • Help facilitate a smooth start to NHO Live on Day 1.

  • Supports screening

    Complies with and supports organization and department policies and procedures
  • Attends staff meetings, as scheduled (Some travel may be required)

  • Maintains professional appearance at all times

  • Uses excellent customer relation skills
