Job Summary
With a primary concentration on teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement of clinical processes, the Mobile Health Education (MH) Specialist – paramedic. provides high quality patient care and safe medical transport to sick and injured patients in all age groups . In addition, the MH Education Specialist is accountable for supporting and facilitating the ongoing clinical & training based regulatory & accreditation standards for all Mobile Health staff (New Hanover EMS, VitaLink, VitaLink non-emergency transport, AirLink, community paramedics). This position reports to the VitaLink Clinical Outcomes and Compliance Manager.

Qualifications
Education: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience providing pre-hospital clinical care. Previous medical education and simulation training preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
North Carolina paramedic credential and national registry paramedic credentialing.
BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification. (instructor in at least 1
Advanced trauma certification (TNCC, TPATC, ATLS audit) within 6 months
Advanced certification (CP-C, FP-C, or CCP-C) required
NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800
Current and valid Class C operator’s license required. Must meet general hospital driving requirements. EVO is required to drive during emergency situations.
Additional Skills (required): Must possess a high level of integrity, an eye for detail and an ability to effectively communicate to staff. Demonstrates high-quality clinical care through simulation and competency testing.
