The Administrative Associate III, working under the direct supervision of the Supervisor GME Program Administrator in Surgery, provides support to multiple surgeons within Novant Health NHRMC’s Physician Group, including several medical directors. This role involves performing a wide range of administrative tasks, utilizing discretion, independent judgment, and advanced clerical skills to achieve results that align with established business practices

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of a 2 year secretarial or executive secretarial program or 3 years experience in a secretarial role, Required. Associate’s degree, preferred. Business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
Experience: 3 years s ecretarial experience with a wide scope of responsibility, including but not limited to reception duties, scheduling, meeting arrangements, minutes, etc. in a medium or large organization working for one or multiple individuals, required.

Good organizational skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office • Proficient in time management, setting priorities and organizing work to meet deadlines • Effectively work in a team environment, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships • Diplomacy, compassion, sensitivity, and a commitment to carry out professional activities • Handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality • Excellent troubleshooter / problem solver
Additional Skills (preferred):
Knowledge of call schedule software • Making decisions independently and escalating issues when needed • Proficient in using Perfect Serve, Qgenda, MiTeam, and Concur
