Job Description

CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high-impact dispensing role and positively impact others' lives. As a Pharmacy Technician working in the backend of the pharmacy, you would be responsible for all aspects of the packing/shipping of mail-order prescriptions. As a backend Pharmacy Technician, you may also be cross trained for duties associated with the fulfillment of prescriptions, including automated drug dispensing systems, manual pick, and unit of use. Required Qualifications

-Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy-The ability to work business required overtime (BROT) when needed-Ability to stand for extended periods of time-Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift to 40 pounds-Ability to read and understand English-Strong written and verbal communication skills-The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals (including the ability to calculate dosages and days' supply prescriptions

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician-Experience working in a pick/pack/ship environment-Experience reading/interpreting prescription terminology and medications

Education

-A verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required
