CVS Health Automation Mechanic Dispensing in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Job Description

CVS Health has an exciting job opportunity as an Automation Mechanic and we are looking for someone to excel in a complex integral part of the Pharmacy Warehouse.

An Automation Mechanic is responsible maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment/ automated dispensing equipment. Robots and conveyor systems are critical in an automated pharmacy environment, as necessary repairs to them is a major component to this role. The automation mechanic is also responsible for preventative maintenance on above equipment. This position requires up to 20% travel.

A successful candidate will possess knowledge in fields such as mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. An understanding of electrical theory is needed, as portion of the position will require reading and interpreting of schematics. Knowledge and understanding of motor mechanics is also necessary due to this role requiring troubleshooting, maintenance and installation of different motor parts and equipment.

Hours: B shift – Sunday-Wednesday 3:00pm-1:30am

Required Qualifications

-One plus years of experience in Engineering/Industrial Maintenance environment or a recent graduate of an Electrical Engineering program or related field

Preferred Qualifications

-Maintenance experience in an industrial environment

-Knowledge of computers and computer applications such as AutoCAD and drafting skills are a plus

-Skilled in troubleshooting of electro-mechanical control systems

Education

-High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
