In our Enterprise Technology & Security Development Program (ETSDP), you will help build next-generation services and collaborate with fintech partners on innovative solutions. THIS PROGRAM HAS A START DATE OF JULY 2025

Technology Risk Rotation

In this year-long program you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to have a successful career. As part of this program, you’ll accelerate the development of foundational risk skills through a combination of classes, self-study and on-the-job training. In addition, you’ll complete three different Technology Risk rotations across various teams within the business line. Each rotation will offer unique opportunities to manage Citizens’ top operational risks within technology infrastructure, architecture, enterprise engineering and data management. Sample responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the process, controls and testing approach.

  • Participate in traditional and proactive risk and control assessments.

  • Manage, review and report on the issue portfolio

  • Participate in issue validation activities.

  • Deliver a well-controlled operating environment that is sustainable, scalable, and efficient.

  • Utilize a data first mindset, with high skilled resources, and streamlined processes to proactively identify, manage and measure risk.

    All ETSDP colleagues will spend their first 5 weeks together for on-boarding, orientation, and our in-house Tech Made Ready Academy.

    Early Career Development Program (ECDP)

    All ETSDP colleagues will participate in the Early Career Development Program (ECDP) this robust program is designed to give our new colleagues a solid foundation to Citizens . Through the ECDP, you’ll experience:

  • 4-day in-person event with bank-wide development program colleagues

  • Professional development workshops (including Presence & Presentation)

  • Networking opportunities with senior leadership across all areas of Citizens

  • Dedicated community service activities to include direct service or skills-based volunteering to local organizations across our footprint.

    Life after the program

    Upon successful completion of the ETS Development Program, colleagues will be placed on a team where you will continue to develop your Technology Risk career.

    Qualifications

    Basic qualifications:

  • Successfully complete a video interview assessment

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information security and assurance, computer science, software development or other technology-related degree.

  • Expected graduation date of Spring 2025

  • Minimum GPA 3.0.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of or experience with coding languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript , C++, SQL, etc.

  • Knowledge of or experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, sprints, and Jira.

  • Knowledge of or experience with operating systems such as Linux, Windows, VMWare ESX.

  • Knowledge of or experience with Database technologies.

  • Cybersecurity and Cloud coursework or experience.

    Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for this position and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

    Hours and Work Schedule

    Hours per Week: 40

    Work Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5pm
