Position Summary:

Core-Mark is looking for a Sales and Leadership Recruiter to support our sales and distribution center leadership teams. This person will be a talent advisor to the business and will lead the identification, development, and management of candidates through the entire recruitment process. This position is based at our headquarters in Westlake, TX with a requirement to work in-office a minimum of 4-days per week.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Owns relationship with hiring managers and HR; takes a consultative approach to sourcing and setting strategy in order to identify top talent for current and future needs

  • Leads intake meetings with hiring managers to identify requirements of the role, as well as the individualized needs of the departments and hiring managers

  • Partners with cross-functional business teams, HR partners, and other Talent Acquisition team members to minimize risk and execute sound recruiting and hiring process

  • Interviews and evaluates candidates in a timely manner while always providing a positive candidate experience

  • Drives the offer process, including negotiating and closing candidate on offer

  • Ensures candidate tracking is up to date and compliant in ATS (BrassRing)

  • Possess strong candidate and client management skills, with a proven ability to influence

  • Articulates our employment value proposition to potential candidates

  • Sources potential and passive candidates through social media, direct outreach, and relationship building

  • Networks and maintains relationships with key talent communities for active and passive opportunities

  • Manages correspondence and relationships with identified universities to support the corporate college program

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Deep knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills

  • Proven track record of innovative sourcing and building talent communities within unique functional skillsets

  • Proficient knowledge and demonstrated results using recruitment technology (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, database mining, social media and military)

  • Evidence of writing and presentation skills to both senior management and hiring managers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships with a wide variety of colleagues and managers

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of organization

  • High attention to detail and candidate communication
