Material Handler

Summary

The Production Line Specialist is responsible for assisting both the Operations Manager – Production and the Floor Manager with various tasks associated with the Production Floor.

Essential Functions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Work a section of the production line as requested.

• Check bags and move tubs.

• Empty garbage.

• Manage cardboard.

• Performs other duties as assigned in Production and Logistics departments.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
