CVS Health Billing Senior Analyst in Wellesley, Massachusetts

CVS Media Exchange [CMX] is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for our suppliers, merchants, stores, GMs, brand advertisers, and agencies. Our full-funnel ad solutions leverage CVS’s in-store and online data, extensive reach, and to provide measurable results for our clientele. With a range of flexible pricing and buying models, including self-service; these solutions help businesses build brand awareness, engage with CVS consumers, and convert CVS consumers to shoppers.

Billing Analyst is responsible for overseeing client billing and the accounts payable processes for CMX, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to financial policies. The right candidate will be customer focused, detail oriented, process driven and innovative seeking to establish new and efficient billing policies and practices.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Run efficient billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Partner with internal business systems to optimize the accounts payable and billable workflows.

  • Prepare and distribute client invoices, addressing any billing discrepancies promptly.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for billing purposes.

  • Manage accounts payable activities, including setting up new vendors, vendor payments, and payment tracking.

  • Review and analyze financial data to identify areas for process improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, SOX compliance and relevant regulations.

  • Foster positive relationships with CMX Sales and clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to billing.

  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on payables and receivables

R equired Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience as a Sr Financial Analyst/Manager in Media or Advertising related industries, with a focus on client billing and accounts payable

  • 2+ years' experience working with accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • 1+ year experience with financial software tools such as Salesforce, SAP, and other accounting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail media experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated strategy experience and ability to understand business trends

  • Entrepreneurial spirit seeking to drive innovation.

  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Media ocean experience is a plus

  • Expert level knowledge with Microsoft Excel

The candidate may be Remote or commutable to one of our corporate offices and be willing to work a hybrid schedule. Hybrid model with 3 onsite days/week at one of these locations:

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
