Job Purpose and Impact

The Marketing Communications Associate Director will lead the development and execution of all marketing communications activities for a large or complex business or platform. In this role, you will provide guidance to a team of professionals to lead and coordinate the marketing communications materials to effectively represent products, services, brands and the organization to customers and prospects.

Key Accountabilities

  • Negotiate or supervise the negotiation and selection of business with external suppliers and agencies.

  • Lead the development and execution of internal and external communication strategies for the business or platform, ensuring all materials and content are on brand.

  • Lead the implementation of marketing campaigns and partner to develop marketing communications strategies and programs in collaboration with sales and technical teams.

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of marketing campaigns and content marketing to support the organization's products, services or market sector.

  • Provide leadership and guidance in the creation of graphic presentations that clearly communicate the product, solution or brand messages to meet business objectives.

  • Evolve brand strategy foundation for key brands, including: brand purpose and positioning, alignment to consumer targets, full funnel consumer journey

  • Drive brand health momentum via strong campaign plans and execution to improve awareness, consideration, relevance, distinction

  • Oversee campaign effectiveness measurement with key performance indicators to maximize return on spend

  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of Marketing Communications work experience

  • Minimum of five years managerial/supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of ten years of Marketing and Communication work related experience

  • Experience of marketing strategy and planning

  • Experience of brand building on B2C

  • Experience of managing significant advertising budget

  • Experience of campaign planning and execution

  • Experience of managing creative and media agency relationship

  • Experience on Agriculture or Animal Nutrition
