Job Purpose and Impact

The Digital Technology & Data team at Cargill is a critical enabler of our corporate strategy and is uniquely positioned to propel forward-looking evolution. The Human Resources Manager will partner with business leaders within Cargill’s Digital Technology & Data function to execute the people and culture strategy, focused on efforts related to organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning and talent management, team and organization effectiveness, and change management. In this role, you will be a champion for change to advance organizational goals and key strategic initiatives and translate and execute business strategies, challenges, and human resources needs.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the development of people strategies that support business strategies and objectives and support and influence key operational and strategic decisions.

  • Provide partnership and practical solutions to improve performance and engagement, increase productivity, understand talent needs and mitigate people risk for the business.

  • Lead people and culture processes and initiatives across assigned group, talent assessment, talent planning and development strategies to select, retain, and develop critical talent, performance management, team development, and engagement action planning.

  • Drive strategic focus and action towards diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy and goals.

  • Use data, core team health metrics, and analytics to assess overall organizational health of the business to influence decisions and deliver significant insights.

  • Support the planning and delivery of core processes ranging from performance and talent management, leadership development to change management and organizational design, including spans and layers work.

  • Participate as an active member of human resources community, building relationships across the team and supporting other initiatives and projects while identifying and sharing strategies and solutions.

  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience

  • Business and financial acumen with ability to coach and influence leaders based on business priorities

  • Demonstrated functional competence across multiple areas, including organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, change management, compensation, and strategic workforce planning

  • Experience in partnering with business leaders and developing and delivering people and culture strategies

  • Ability to use data and reporting to drive strategic decisions and provide data analysis to business partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in human resources

  • Ability to assess people implications of business strategies and priorities and move towards action

  • Experience working in close partnership with and/or supporting Digital and Technology teams

  • Industry standard knowledge of both product model and agile methodology

  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate plans into phased actions

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills to communicate across all levels of the organization globally

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
