Job Purpose and Impact

The Change and Communication Global Specialist will align communications and change efforts conducted with internal and external stakeholders impacted by the Smart Manufacturing Transformation at Cargill.

In this role, you will partner with regional leads in the business and on the change team, to define and reinforce new ways of working with leaders, as well as at the plant/site/port level. You will collaborate with regional change leads to identify and build a strong stakeholder engagement throughout this multi-year transformation, working closely with the communications leader to ensure proper alignment of messages and engagement.

As a member of the global Change team, the Change Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and enabling networks/communities of practice for change champions, product owners and data scientists and engineers. This role will propose, design, and deliver change management and communication solutions as well as enabling the network to localize where needed for unique differences.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute activities with a focus on business and functional leadership engagement and ownership in delivering quality change events and materials for the Global Smart Manufacturing approach.

  • Lead key change activities, including stakeholder identification, action plans, change discussions, validating change impacts and role mapping activities of project objectives including scope, schedule, and quality to help ensure successful deployment of the new technologies related to next generation, automation and controls, advanced analytics, and digital transformation.

  • Create and execute communications plan to prepare, adapt, and distribute internal and external deployment-related communications with support and approval from leadership.

  • Lead and execute key stakeholder activities and resources to coordinate and lead engagement during deployment phases and enablement efforts.

  • Collaborate on education delivery, training schedules, logistics, trainer availability and the measurement of training effectiveness.

  • Facilitate the storage of localized training documents for the business.

  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience in change management, communications approach, or related field

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience in a global project transformation and Change Management strategy

  • Minimum of four years of related work experience with change tools such stakeholder’s analysis and change impact mapping and the value of their outputs

  • Successful track record leading and delivering complex, multi-year, enterprise-wide change management programs.

  • Experience working globally and comfort with cultural diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change Management certification PROSCI preferred

  • Master's degree in Organizational Communication or Continuous Improvement
