RandD Controls Engineer- WAGO Job ID: 13695 Job location(s): Waynesboro, US Job DescriptionDanfoss is seeking a Controls Engineer to join AAIM Controls, Inc., a unit of Danfoss, LLC specializing in the design and manufacture of power controls, automation solutions, and embedded microprocessor control products for equipment in the industrial refrigeration industry. This position will support the WAGO PFC program development and design solutions that operate industrial refrigeration machinery.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.Programming of WAGO PFC controllersDesign and supervision of the construction of first prototypes of new design conceptsTrain other PLC Engineers on the WAGO platformAssist with embedded micro controller projectsCarry out testing of products and do failure analysis when needed.Background and SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering1 andndash; 3 years of experience working with WAGO Programmable Field Controllers (PFC's)Proven experience in embedded programming (e.g. C/C++ language)Working knowledge of Linux and comfortable at the command line levelExperience with MQTT, HTML and database programmingFamiliarity with practices of electronics engineering - circuits and systems, electronics, digital systems, electromagnetics, and communication protocols (CAN, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP)Excellent communication skills andndash; orally and writtenResults-oriented and andquot;hands-onandquot; approach.
