Innovation Engagement Coordinator
M-F 8am-5pm

The Innovation engagement coordinator's primary responsibility is to plan, coordinate, and execute all events related to the Innovation Program. This role will report to the Innovation Program Manager and support the Innovation Program Analyst.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Plan, schedule, coordinate and execute all Innovation related events successfully and on-time and in a fast pace environment.

Oversee the event calendar for the Innovation Program and coordinate internal and external events with partners (i.e., Design Thinking Challenge, Hackathons, Webinars, Training Session).

Create and own event production timelines.

Work with marketing to manage a multimedia campaign calendar that may include social media, online videos or streaming events, podcasts, print media, SharePoint and others.

Work with marketing on editing of communications and marketing materials such as event fliers, posters, one-pagers, postcards, pamphlets, banners, t-shirts, website materials, e-newsletters, and other promotional materials.

Create cost plans/structures for events, produce within budget, and track all spending and invoicing.

Manage RSVPs and check-ins for all events and workshops.

Conceptualize event requirements based on goals, audience, event type, budget etc.

Create engaging internal and external marketing materials and content, such as original videos, graphics, photographs.

In-Space point person for all Event Talent & Run of Show questions and concerns.

Establish timelines and communicate agenda / material effectively using PowerPoint.

Required Skills:

Skilled in MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Miro and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Extremely organized with strong time-management skills with ability to multi-task.

Ability to exercise initiative, problem identification, problem solving and independent decision making.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must be able to thrive under pressure, deadline oriented and manage competing priorities.

Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal/external stakeholders.

Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Ability to impact operations and effect change without being confrontational.

Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive.

Ability to work independently and with others.

Required Experience:

HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years' experience in Design Thinking principles.

Prior experience with marketing functions, planning and executing company-wide events and a background in FinTech or tech Startups.

Bachelor's degree in related field of study is preferred.
