Responsibilities: Providing day-to-day support for Completions well-site supervisors Implementing stated company Environmental, Health, and, Safety Policy through pro-active management at the field level Ensuring compliance to ConocoPhillips policies pertaining to completion operations established by the Wells Excellence group, for the purpose of maintaining well integrity standards Ensuring compliance to local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to oil and gas operations Managing projects and timing in a multi-disciplined environment to achieve Business Unit goals. This would include overall logistics of completion operations from initial hand over from Drilling to hand-off to Production Group Working with Completion engineers to develop safe and cost efficient procedures for well operations Working with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) for identification and constant evaluation of qualified vendors in multiple areas Assisting in Identifying, evaluating, and selecting of qualified completions rigs and services. Having direct input and responsibility for cost control and ensuring operations stay within budget Qualifications: Basic/Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States 10 years drilling and completions experience 3 years experience as an on site supervisor 5 years experience supervising contract personnel Willingness to travel to a field location and work a rotational schedule to review safety, technical issues, and operating practices as needed Preferred: Familiarity with computerized reporting systems (WellView) ideally with exposure to the SAP based financial environment Ability to mentor less experienced engineers/rig supervisors and local staff. Proven track record of cost control and streamlining operations to reduce overall costs Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially dealing with contract personnel. Experience and comfort working in a self-directed team with high performance expectations Excellent judgment and decision making ability regarding technical matters. Self-starter with high personal initiative and planning skills.
