Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the accounts receivable revenue cycle and will be cross trained on accounts payable. This position will assist with month end close, posting journal entries, and reconciling all accounts. Successful candidates typically have experience in the manufacturing, construction, or transportation industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Receivable process.

• Research and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• File claims with vendors on damaged products.

• Assist with the Accounts Payable when necessary.

• Work with sales team for client rebates.

• Prepare and post journal entries.

• Reconcile accounts and maintain the GL.

• Assist the CFO with month end close, quarter end, and year end.

• Assist with audit preparation.

• Assist with reporting.

• Other duties as assigned.
