The Strategy & Integration Director will oversee benefit realisation, digital, continuous improvement and innovation strategy driving efficiency across the Enterprise. Leads in driving collaboration between Enterprise partners through programmatic initiatives, building a shared culture and behaviours. The role is focused on continuous improvement across the programme, through optimising innovation and implementing standardised processes.

What you'll be getting up to

  • Supports the GGP Enterprise Director to define and develop GGP delivery strategy, setting clear overarching goals and objectives to drive sustainable delivery of its major infrastructure projects.

  • Acts as the senior focal point for digital, innovation, continuous improvement and benefits realisation strategy related matters; collaborates with GGP leadership, National Grid and Partners to facilitate effective communication, alignment, and decision-making.

  • Oversees a strategic Integrator function that effectively collates, harmonises, and translates input into clear strategic messages, to build consensus around priorities and solutions

  • Oversees the development and implementation of an effective GGP benefit realisation and management strategy that supports National Grid and delivery teams with effective inputs in support of project budget and regulatory requests. The strategy and process should also benefit GGP resource planning and sound decision-making within Enterprise and Onshore and with the regulator.

About you

  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams, with demonstrable track record in supervision, delegation, and decision-making.

  • Demonstrable experience in collaborating and influencing at a senior level; able to constructively challenge and hold internal and external stakeholders at all levels to account.

  • Strategic thinker, with long-term planning skills and ability to align initiatives with overarching organisational goals.

  • Demonstrable track record in managing a broad and multi-faceted workload; balances attention to detail with big picture thinking and displays confidence in executing decisions.

  • Experience in leading strategy development, with applied understanding of tools and methodologies.
