National Grid is hiring a Digital Change Manager for our Strategic Infrastructure Department. This Is a hybrid position based out of either Warwick or London.

We are seeking a Digital Change Manager to support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and improve stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for implementing change management strategies that ensure successful adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working, aligning with National Grid’s vision for a smarter, greener energy future.

Key Accountabilties

  • Change Leadership: Lead the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive change management strategies to support digital transformation programmes across Strategic Infrastructure.

  • Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that digital change initiatives meet their needs and expectations.

  • Employee Engagement: Create and execute engagement plans to encourage adoption of digital tools and practices, ensuring employees are equipped and motivated to embrace new ways of working.

  • Performance Measurement: Track and report on the effectiveness of change management initiatives, using data and feedback to refine strategies and ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Cultural Change: Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, fostering a forward-thinking mindset and encouraging employees to engage with the company’s digital future.

About You

We looking for a Digital Change Manager with proven experience in change management, specifically within digital transformation projects, with experience in the energy or utilities sector is desirable.

  • Digital Expertise: In-depth understanding of digital technologies, systems, and trends that influence change in large organisations.

  • Change Management Skills: Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci), and proven ability to apply these to large-scale digital initiatives.

  • Problem-solving Skills: Proven ability to identify challenges, diagnose problems, and design creative solutions that facilitate change and enhance adoption.

  • Project Management: Familiarity with project management methodologies, with experience leading or contributing to complex, cross-functional projects.

  • Leadership : A collaborative leadership style that inspires and motivates others to embrace change and deliver high-impact results.

Desired:

  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, CIPD) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

  • Experience with agile methodologies and digital project delivery frameworks. - Knowledge of energy sector regulations, sustainability initiatives, and the impact of digital technologies on energy infrastructure.

What you'll get

A competitive salary between £60,000 – £75,000 – dependent on capability.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
