About the role
The Asset Information Lifecycle Manager will lead and develop a team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all asset information necessary for efficient business operations and to meet financial, statutory, and regulatory requirements. This role also ensures the provision, governance, and maintenance of relevant technical asset data in compliance with National Grid Policies, Procedures, and standards
What you'll be doing
Act as the ‘Senior Business User’ for all asset information related digital projects, data remediation exercises and other related asset information projects
Ensure the timely and accurate submission of all asset information required to satisfy financial and regulatory reporting requirements
Maintain and develop asset data structures, supporting processes and governance
Provide and manage an audit and assurance regime pertinent to evaluating the effectiveness of and compliance with ET core data systems and processes
Actively promote the development and implementation of a positive data and information management culture and the implementation of the any relevant National Grid standards
Provide day to day management of team including workload, resource management, performance management, safety issues and personal development plans
What you'll need
Excellent understanding of the technical documentation suite, asset information requirements and information exchange processes for high volumes of asset information
Experience of Risk Management and Asset Management Tools and Techniques
In-depth knowledge and experience of enterprise asset management systems
Knowledge of electricity transmission assets and systems
Experience of leading large and diverse professional teams
Experience of influencing at senior levels internally and externally
Numerate degree, or equivalent experience
Membership of relevant professional body

What you'll get
A competitive salary between £65,000 - £84,000 dependent on capability.
