Job Description

Technology Reporting Analyst

As a Technology Reporting Analyst, you'll be a key member of the team in driving our efforts to turn data into a narrative that drives decisions. You will harness the power of our technology to gather, analyze, and report on data that uncovers trends, forecasts outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management :

  • Collect and manage data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

  • Reporting & Analysis :

  • Uses advanced reporting tools to create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key metrics clearly and compellingly.

  • Provides reports and information support to Technology Leaders and Business Line Managers by developing reports and information dashboards.

  • Assists with the design and development of risk management reporting, metrics, and presentations.

  • Insight Generation:

  • Interpret data to provide actionable insights, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases and processes to monitor regulatory and compliance activities.

  • Tool Proficiency:

  • Maintains an up-to-date understanding of reporting tools and technologies, recommending upgrades and new tools as necessary.

  • Collaboration:

  • Works closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet these requirements.

  • Collaboration with data owners to define, organize, and develop data mining tools/databases.

  • Continuous Improvement:

  • Seeks out opportunities to improve reporting processes and outcomes, leveraging feedback and data to drive enhancements.

  • Oversees monitoring and communications of compliance training requirements to ensure adherence to requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience with reporting tools such as SQL, Webfocus, Power BI, or similar. Linux knowledge also an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for a non-technical audience.

  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Basic understanding of IT project management, Agile, systems development life cycle, and technical writing/documentation.

  • Thorough knowledge of IT standards, procedures, policies, query and DB access tools, and database backup and migration.

  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skill and strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a Governance-related role.

Hybrid/flexible schedule:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
