Biogen Principal Business Analyst Commercial & Medical IT (hybrid work) in Warsaw, Poland

What You'll Do

  • Lead requirement discussions, document, analyze, and translate functional and non-functional business requirements.

  • Develop Requirements and Traceability Matrices, ensuring delivery aligns with business objectives. Ensure business value is defined and can be measured post deployment

  • Utilize data tables, create logical source-to-target mappings, illustrate processes, data and Information flows and diagrams

  • Work with the application development team(s) to help translate requirements into technical specifications

  • Provide strong support during the build process, overseeing development to ensure the solutions are built and will meet/exceed the needs of the business; assist in system testing 

  • Oversee Change Management with business partners from a system use perspective; identify and address business process touchpoints 

  • Define the user experience, ensuring solutions that not only work but are easy to navigate and consume. Deliver a rich user experience via Proof of Concept iterations and agile prototyping

  • Facilitate the UAT process, working with end users to define test scenarios, plans and test scripts. Ensure the business fully understands the capabilities and tests the complete solution and data supporting it. Assist users during UAT, and work with users and development teams on issues identification and resolution

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as IT business analyst or in IT project management-related role

  • Bachelor’s in information technology preferred

  • Experience working with business systems (i.e. Veeva CRM, Salesforce, MDM, reporting tools, etc.)

  • Self-motivated, team player, and well-organized

  • Demonstrated successes in working with cross-functional resource teams

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and/or tasks

  • Ability to work independently

  • Must be able to effectively communicate technical components of an initiative in both technical and business terms

  • Proven oral and written communication skills to a variety of audiences

  • Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
