Job Description

The HR Data Management role focuses on end to end people data management, governance and strategy. In the HR Data Management Specialist role you’ll take on a number of responsibilities in our people data system – Workday. Requests are submitted to the team via ServiceNow. Accuracy and data privacy compliance are top priorities in the work.

The following work may be part of this role:

  • Researches and corrects employee job data to ensure data integrity and eliminate errors through downstream processing.

  • Runs queries and performs audits to support risk, audit and data privacy compliance. Processes job updates using knowledge and established business processes with HRIS (Workday).

  • Responds and resolves escalated cases from Employee Services regarding employee data changes. Reviews and approves requested data changes to ensure compliance and adherence to established business processes. Performs mass data changes, terminated employee data updates.

  • Completes data validation and data corrections as necessary for HR program support. Fulfills report and query requests related to HR Operations to support efficient, accurate and timely data needed to help resolve issues or perform tasks within Employee Services.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related degree, or equivalent work experience

  • One or more years of experience in an associated Human Resources position, preferably managing HR data with HRIS

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Previous experience processing and maintaining data within Workday

  • Exility to analyze data to solve problems and recommend solutions

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications

Hybrid/flexible schedule:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days
