Job Purpose and Impact

The Advisory Solutions Global Analyst will be responsible for activities including data collection, classification or global trade services legal control release. In this role, you will work partner collaboratively with other global trade compliance team members to analyze data, support client or vendor interactions and to implement projects.

We have two open roles for this position. One is for Permanent Position, and the other is a 12-18 month contract (with high probability to converted to permanent).

Key Accountabilities

  • Use technical knowledge of classification and trade agreement to collect, manage and record data.

  • Monitor and release legal control blocks in global trade services.

  • Clean, shape and move critical master data onto trade compliance application.

  • Support the development of guidelines, tools, templates and instructions.

  • Administer and monitor customs and trade compliance related systems as a super user for troubleshooting, training and data quality purposes.

  • Support the development, implementation and maintenance of processes and projects.

  • Compile, analyze and report on metrics and data.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field like customs, foreign trade or international business, or equivalent experience.

  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of Harmonized System (HS) classification and origin determination (LTSD request).

  • Process thinking and detail oriented.

  • Preferably 4 years of experience in a similar role.
