Raytheon Information Review and Release Analyst in Warrenton, Virginia

Raytheon has an immediate to fill a position for an Information Review and Release Analyst, located primarily in Warrenton, VA, initial training will be held in Herndon, VA. This expert level position is full time to support the Search and Review Team on the KODIAK Program. The right candidate for this position must have a thorough understanding of reviewing and redacting documents both electronically and/or manually and be responsible for aiding in the determination of document retention or destruction. The right candidate will be using criteria established in EO 13526 (or as amended), FOIA and Privacy Act laws, and review standards of special searches and historical collection as well as internal declassification guidance as provided by the Sponsor. The candidate will be responsible for reaching out and coordinating with all stakeholders to determine document fate (classification, redaction, or destruction). This position is the final quality check and review of the documents and recommendations prior to passing to the Sponsor for final releasing authorization. Required Skills The right candidate will be responsible for providing the rationale for redaction actions on the electronic version of the document using redaction codes provided in the Customer’s declassification guidance. Must be able to work well in a team environment and be the liaison with Other Government Agency (OGA) on managing equity and referral issues. Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers at all levels and across multiple organizations. Excellent organizational skills. Extensive knowledge and proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc), the internet (search capability), and other customer specific internal applications necessary to complete tasks. Must be proficient in computer usage. Must have strong customer service skills Conduct and record decisions in the Customer’s automated systems or hardcopy forms, as required Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and manage priorities. Provide declassification recommendations and input decision into an OGA provided database in accordance to guidance provided by the OGA. Strong multitasking ability and scheduling skills. Ability to support ad hoc requirements and be able to adapt to change. Willingness to be cross-trained in other areas within the customer’s work unit. Required Education Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of six (6) years of experience A high school diploma and 14 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a degree Candidates resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position mentioned above and with the Sponsor.
