National Grid is hiring a Lead Specialist, Customer Energy Integration based in Northboro, MA. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance.
Job Purpose
To support MA DER regulatory initiatives, program management and communications to ensure prioritization of efforts, dissemination and accessibility of information, and training for affected stakeholders and leadership.
Key Accountabilities
Serve as the single point of contact for regulatory conversations, keeping detailed record of notes, action items, decisions, and next steps.
Provide summary updates regarding regulatory initiatives within the DG space.
Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations, deadlines, communication.
Additional Responsibilities
Develop customer communications, manage respective communication repositories, and updates where appropriate.
Facilitate process improvement conversations, document outcomes, and seek approvals for process improvement initiatives.
Assist with the prioritization of improvement efforts acting as a liaison between CEI, the Contact Center, back-office, and other relevant functions at National Grid
Serve as the single point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders related to key MA DER incentive programs, processes, and policies.
Assist other Customer Energy Integration (CEI) team members with ad hoc DER data management, process improvement, automation, and IT enhancement projects as it relates to regulatory directives.
Facilitate and ensure completion of annual, recurring reporting tasks or filings related to various DER incentive programs and regulatory compliance items.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, associate degree with 1-3 years’ experience, or 3-5 years of related work experience
Experience with technical writing.
Proficiency with basic math skills and some experience with Microsoft Excel is required, familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications (including Outlook & Teams) is also strongly preferred.
Previous regulatory exposure or experience
Demonstrated ability to learn, understand, and effectively communicate complicated programs or policies to customers and other team members is required.
Familiarity with MA utility billing and interconnection practices is strongly preferred (familiarity with other energy markets and incentive programs will also be considered)

Salary
$128,000 - $151,000 a year
