Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all deployed cloud solutions follow our customer's Cyber Security requirements and compliance controls by leveraging existing templates, documentation and other reusable sources provided by our customer's management

  • Configure infrastructure through code (IBM Cloud)

  • Configure build and release pipelines for cloud and/or on-premise solutions

  • Monitor and support cloud and/or on-prem applications using approved industry tools and practices defined by our customer.

  • Respond to service requests from the development organization under guidance from our customer's management.

  • Participate in on call rotations that occur during normal hours within your time zone

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT-related field or a minimum of 5+ years of relevant, IT experience.

  • 3+ years of build and deployment automation (Continuous Integration/Delivery) experience using industry-standard platforms

  • General knowledge of traditional network, firewalls and load balancers• Strong technical documentation skills; workflows and support documentation

  • Programming and scripting language experience: Visual Basic, T/SQL, HTML, XML, VB Script, ASP, .NET, or PowerShell

  • Understanding of architecture standards design and implementation, including strategy, redundancy, availability, performance, stability, quality, innovation, and security

  • Design, testing, training, implementation, and post implementation support experience

  • Experience with business users, implementation team members, and the implementation partner

  • Microsoft Office experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Project

  • Teamwork skills, working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, virtual and cross-cultural. Working with teams in large data center in regards to network, storage, and server infrastructure. Lead and manage teams, work productively with all levels in a large organization, collaboration.

  • Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell

  • Knowledge of an Agile and Scrum software development methodology

  • End-to-end implementation
