The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects across the product organization. This role will manage timelines, procedures for accomplishing project, allotment of resources to various phases of projects and hold team members inside and outside of the organization accountable to key activities. You'll investigate and plan for standard and ad-hoc projects and problems, make presentations, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure projects are completed on time.
Defines project scope and facilitates meetings with stakeholders
Serves as a key resource on critical issues and escalates as appropriate
Identifies and solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions
Forecasts and plans resource requirements
Leads internal or external teams or projects
Makes presentations and reports for executive management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results
Early identification of risk, identification of remediation strategies and timely engagement of project stakeholders in risk mitigation
Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise.
Investigate non-standard requests and problems with some assistance from others.
Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines.
Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise.
Baseline knowledge of project life cycle and financial acumen.
Proven ability to manage relationships and influence others without formal authority

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of project management experience
2 years of project management experience
Intermediate efficiency in MS Office: Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Project, SharePoint
You will be asked to performthis role in an office setting or other company location, however, may berequired to work from home temporarily due to space limitations.
Employees are required toscreen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app,Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms viaphone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group -approved symptom screenerprior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our worksites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local maskingorders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees areexpected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot beattained.
Experience working in healthcare
PMP and/or process improvement certification
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively verbally and in writing
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and meeting facilitation skills
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
Ability to work with minimal guidance; seeking guidance on only the most complex tasks
