As a Senior Performance Improvement Leader you will direct performance improvement strategies with a focus on centralized and efficient health system operations impacting Cerner client engagements. This position will work with health care executives on HSO (Health System Operations) and client improvement teams as well as being focused on workforce and operations management of that client's health systems. You will cultivate external client relationships to achieve business objectives and drive key stat analytics for client success measures and other performance improvement methodologies. In this role, you will be heavily involved in process mapping and lead strategic discussions with an external client to define key value objectives for the engagement, scope, and success metrics. You will oversee the DMAIC process to evaluate opportunities and implement improvements surrounding people, processes, and technology. You will analyze key data points to determine baseline measurements. You will identify key process and change management strategies and methods to monitor the performance and adoption of changes including baselining the client's current status. You will also educate internal and external stakeholders in applying process improvement tools and methodologies.

At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education; including:
At least 2 years of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
At least 5 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
Industrial Engineering preferred
5 years of experience as a health care system performance improvement metrics
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black belt certification
Operational or workforce management experience
Willing to travel up to 70% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Must reside near a virtually approved location
