Job Description:

As a Project Manager with Cerner's VA EHRM team, you will provide day-to-day management of projects including risk management, stakeholder communications, and interdependencies between projects or programs. Facilitate project implementation and overcome project barriers. Obtain requirements, evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of multiple projects. Network within an organization to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment. Create, monitor and provide ongoing communication to appropriate stakeholders . Support a team by growing their capabilities to organize, manage, and make decisions. Report risk areas and partner with leadership on strategies to address concerns. Manage interdependencies or dependencies between projects or programs through collaboration, cross-functional project planning and comprehensive reporting packages. Develop detailed project plans and manage project process documentation.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

  • At least 1 year project/program management work experience

  • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

  • High School Diploma

  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)
