Cerner Clinical Consultant in Virtual Missouri, Missouri
As a Clinical Consultant on the Federal Clinical Adoption team, you will guide clients through the change process required to achieve defined key performance indicators related to adoption of the electronic health record across services on the Department of Defense - MHS Genesis project. Utilizing effective consulting skills during project events, the Clinical Consultant who is focused on change management will coordinate integration of clinical activities and workflow reviews into the Wave deployment process, facilitate business process change and provide change management consulting to ensure that organizational aspects are addressed as new enabling technologies are implemented. In doing so the job requires focus on change management and end user adoption. In this role you will engage with members of the Partnership, staff and leadership from the military treatment facilities and members of the broader Cerner Clinical and Deployment teams.

At least 6 years of total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
At least 1 year of licensed health care practice, clinical consulting and/or other clinical healthcare information technology (HCIT) work experience
At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Studies, Health Care or related field
Registered Nurse - State Board
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Previous experience leading large change management initiatives with foundational understanding of industry change management interventions
Previous experience working with Cerner Millennium applications
Previous experience managing large, complex full cycle solution implementations
Comprehensive understanding of hospital and/or ambulatory clinical practices
Possess decision making skills as well as the ability to deal with ambiguity
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and Process orientated
Strong analytic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines
