Job Description:

S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking an Cloud Security Engineer to be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team to secure AWS Cloud database environment used for running index applications in accordance with industry best practices and internal policies. This role requires a seasoned Cloud Security Engineer who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment.

The Team : Join our dynamic team of AWS database experts as a highly-skilled Cloud Security Engineer. As part of this role, you will be vital in expanding and optimizing our AWS cloud databases and pipeline architecture. Your primary responsibilities will involve engineering and supporting our AWS cloud security and consistent delivery of our services.

The Impact : We are looking for a technically strong Cloud Security Engineer with a hands-on approach who can bring strong technical skills, communication, and experience to a global team.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Engineer and implement solutions in AWS Cloud

  • Provisioning and Maintaining AWS Resources

  • Design & Implement cloud security controls

  • Review and Remediate Cloud security violations

  • Maintain Cloud and Infrastructure Governance Run Book

  • Review and Implement Information Security standards

  • Generate Infrastructure Risk metrics

  • Manage and respond to Internal and external Auditors

  • Monitor Infrastructure and Cloud compliance

  • Run and maintain OS, Network, Firewall patching efficiency reports

  • Review privileged access (CyberArk) controls

  • Generate CIS compliance levels

  • Validate Database backups

  • Manage Infrastructure Disaster Recovery and backup and maintain documentation

  • Manage Infrastructure Cyber Incident Recovery and maintain documentation

  • Liaison with BISO/CISO teams

  • Collaborate with Corporate Cloud Team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Skilled in overseeing enterprise cloud infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated success in establishing and managing cloud security practices.

  • Knowledgeable about information security standards and best practices.

  • Experienced in collaborating with external auditors.

  • Proficient in using CyberArk or comparable privileged access management tools.

  • Experienced with cloud security scanning tools such as Secure State and WIZ Cloud.

  • Knowledgeable in network segmentation.

  • Familiar with ServiceNow.
