IBM Client Partner Executive in Hong Kong

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Client Partner Executive (CPE) acts as the leader for Infrastructure Services Strategic Outsourcing account. The CPE will be held accountable for

  • the broad responsibilities of client relationship management, business and financial management, account and team leadership in finding new business opportunities for Infrastructure Services

  • managing accounts P&L (Profit and Loss)

  • leveraging executive client relationships at CxO, VP and/or director level in order to grow the account

  • participating in strategic planning sessions with clients and be viewed as a valued business partner

  • working closely with account team to develop and implement account strategies that address to clients’ business needs

  • identifying and closing new business opportunities with clients

  • ensuring delivery commitments are met by working with service delivery team

  • building a high-performing account team and ensure the team represents a seamless and consistent presence to the clients


  • Bachelor’s degree or above, in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant

  • Approximately 10 to 15 years of experience in Infrastructure Services selling; experience with managing Finance/Banking accounts is a definite advantage

  • Aggressive and consistent in pursuing results

  • Excellent business acumen, able to juggle in between expectations and demands from multiple aspects

  • Good command of spoke and written English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
