We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technology Leader to own technology products for our fast-growing Forecasting business. As such, you will play a critical role in shaping the future solutions ecosystem, support product innovation, and ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives. This is a high-impact leadership position that requires experience in developing SaaS scenario-based solutions, data architecture, emerging technologies as well as the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Vision:
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports Forecasting goals by marrying knowledge of Forecasting business with technology capabilities
Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Drive innovation and the adoption of new technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Collaborate with strategic vendors
Product Development & Innovation:
Inform the development of SaaS products and solutions.
Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to bring innovative data products to market.
Work with Strategic Vendor teams providing solution and architecture standards
Support the continuous improvement of existing products and services through data-driven insights and customer feedback.
Data Architecture:
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and cost effective data architecture.
Ensure the integration of data systems across the organization to enable seamless data flow and analytics.
Lead the selection and implementation of technology platforms and partners that support data acquisition, storage, processing, and analysis across large, complex datasets.
Leadership & Team Development:
Build and lead a high-performing technology team, including data engineers, data scientists, software engineers.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the technology team.
Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on career development and technical skills enhancement.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology initiatives and track progress against these metrics.
Prepare and present regular reports on technology performance, project status, and strategic goals.
Use data analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Data Governance & Security:
Collaborate with BISO and Product teams on data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
Oversee the implementation of data security measures to protect sensitive information and mitigate risks.
Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and integrity of the company’s data assets.
Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
Optimize technology investments to deliver maximum value to the business.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through technology optimization and automation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
20+ years of experience in technology roles, with a strong focus on data management, analytics, and business intelligence
Proven experience in SaaS solutions
Proven experience in commercially available Scenarios based tools
Deep understanding of data architecture, cloud computing, big data technologies and AI
Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Experience in managing and working with cross functional teams.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead digital transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated experience deployment Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Compensation/Benefits Information : (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $157,941 to $315,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
