As a Data Analyst at Gen6, your role is to be an expert at understanding data. You will be working with multiple business segments within the Credit Card as a Service (CaaS) team, including, Risk, Marketing, Finance and Technology. We expect you to aid various teams in drawing insight from the data and use that information to make informed business decisions. Tasks will include designing the data warehouse table structure, creating dashboards, reporting packages, and business tools for use across the organization and with our partner brands. General Responsibilities :

  • Develop coding for reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Use the appropriate tools to help your stakeholders improve their performance, and sometimes design algorithms to decipher deeper why and how questions.

  • Understand your business stakeholders’ objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance.

  • Plan and execute short-term projects from start to finish.

  • Finding and understanding the correct data sources for a given analysis.

  • Learning from and sharing knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow BI’s total impact to the organization.

Basic Requirements :

  • B.S. degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field

  • 3+ Years of SAS/SQL or equivalent. Must have the ability to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data

  • 3+ years of Industry experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology

  • Ability to work in an unstructured environment with an emphasis on taking initiative to solve problems in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and comfort presenting to everyone from entry-level employees to senior vice presidents

  • Focuses primarily on how to achieve overall analytic objectives of a project with speed and quality.

  • Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences

  • Sensitivity to clients' needs and able to develop warm client relationships

  • Creativity to determine the best solution for a real-world problem with quantitative data

  • Enjoyment from collaborating with others in team environment

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $68,471.00-$109,767.00

IMPORTANT - This range is for the primary posting location of: Work at Home - Nebraska

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
