Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.
The Water Design Build Subcontracts Lead providessupport to multiple Design Build project teams with complex procurement transaction activities (subcontracts and services) throughout the lifecycle of the individual projects. May be required to support other procurement duties, including proposal development, procurement administration, contract development and negotiations, project execution, expediting, and closeout. Receives minimal supervision and may supervise other professionals.
Liaise with Market Sector & Strategic Growthleadership to understand BD strategy, proposal support, and staffing needs
Coordinate with other Market Sector SC Managers and SC Ops Director to manage staffing needs & train subcontracts professionals
Collect/review subcontracts KPIs for all projects in the Market Sector; address concerns with Subcontracts leadership &project management
Support subcontracts leads in the Market Sector to resolve Subcontracts-related issues
Audit projectsfor compliance with Subcontracts processes and procedures
Participate in CRBs and PRBs on proposals with subcontracted scope
Support the development & implementation of the Subcontracts MSA Program
Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience. Must have (2) years of relevant field experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred).
Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
Highly self-motivated and initiative
Strong Attention to Detail. Strong Communication - Written and Oral.
Knowledge & experience in construction disciplines, execution, means, methods, strategy.
Industry experience withing the Water Market Sector
Experience bidding, awarding, and managing subcontracts.
Experience in Subcontractslifecyclemanagement, including proposal development, subcontract formation, subcontracts administration and close-out / warranty.
